In this beginner-friendly workshop, you'll learn how to let water and pigment flow naturally across the paper, creating soft edges, dramatic contrasts, and expressive textures that bring your artwork to life. You'll be guided step-by-step through essential watercolor techniques, including layering values, controlling water, creating atmospheric effects, and adding final details to capture the gentle spirit and strength of this majestic horse. The monochromatic palette makes this an excellent class for learning the fundamentals of watercolor while producing a timeless piece of art. Whether you're new to watercolor or looking to refine your skills, you'll leave with a beautiful finished painting ready to mat, frame, and display. All supplies are included. No drawing or watercolor experience is necessary—just bring your creativity, and we'll do the rest! Booking & Participation Policy All sales made by The Peacock House Art Foundation, Inc., including but not limited to classes, tours, goods, and services, are final. Age & Supervision Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian unless otherwise specified. The Foundation reserves the right to request proof of age at any time. Code of Conduct All participants are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and safe manner at all times. The Foundation reserves the right to remove, without refund, and ban from the property any individual who engages in disruptive, unsafe, unlawful, or disrespectful behavior. Indemnification Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Peacock House Art Foundation, Inc., its directors, staff, and volunteers from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from their own acts, omissions, or negligence while on Foundation property or during participation in Foundation activities.
