Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Jeronimo Alvarez grew up immersed in the worlds of art and the outdoors. His father was a well-known lithographer and art reproducer, recognized primarily for his work with Guy Harvey. Growing up fishing and surfing, Jeronimo developed a deep connection to the water that would remain an important part of his life. His interests eventually led him into charter and tournament fishing before becoming a yacht captain.
Jeronimo also has roots in Miami’s urban art scene, where he was involved in establishing what he describes as Miami’s first legal graffiti yard in Wynwood. His experiences in the city’s evolving arts community helped shape his connection to the creative world.
Having recently relocated to Fort Pierce, Jeronimo is embracing a new chapter and giving the local community a chance to become his next home. The Peacock House Art Foundation welcomes him to the Treasure Coast and looks forward to seeing how his artistic background and experiences contribute to our growing creative community.
