Janet Bird Fuller

Janet Bird Fuller is a Fort Pierce-born, second-generation artist whose creative journey began in childhood, inspired by her father, a police sketch artist. After stepping away from art for a period, Fuller rediscovered her creative voice in 2011 when discarded and forgotten objects sparked the idea of transforming everyday materials into art. She began exhibiting professionally in 2012 and has since become a recognized and active presence in the Treasure Coast arts community. Best known for her eclectic steampunk-inspired mixed-media and found-object creations, Fuller gives new life to recyclable and reclaimed materials, transforming them into imaginative works of art. Beyond her own practice, she is a passionate advocate for the local arts community and the importance of mentorship, collaboration, and artists supporting one another. Her work and dedication reflect a deep connection to Fort Pierce and its growing creative community.
