
Cathleen Sullivan

Cathleen Sullivan is a multidisciplinary artist, educator, mentor, and founder of Treasure Coast Pottery in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Her artistic practice explores a wide range of media—including ceramics, printmaking, encaustic, painting, mixed media, and collage—with a particular focus on experimentation, process, and the interplay of texture and layers. Her work has been exhibited in Florida and New York and has also been featured in public and community spaces, including a transit installation of her encaustic painting Through the Eyes of a Storm throughout Port St. Lucie. Sullivan earned her Bachelor of Arts in Visual Arts from Empire State University, graduating summa cum laude, and has continued her education through workshops and studies with accomplished artists across the United States and internationally. In 2022, she established Treasure Coast Pottery, creating a welcoming multidisciplinary studio where artists of all ages can learn, create, exhibit, and connect. Through her teaching, mentorship, community programs, and leadership with the St. Lucie Cultural Alliance, Sullivan continues to champion arts education and strengthen the creative community of the Treasure Coast.
